About This Program

Grants for cleanup of contaminated brownfield sites to return them to productive economic use, available to states, local governments, tribes, and nonprofits for environmental remediation costs.

Key Requirements & Eligibility

  • 1Applicant must be a state, tribe, local government, or nonprofit
  • 2Site must qualify as a brownfield (real property complicated by hazardous substances or pollutants)
