About This Program

Provides grants to Idaho rural businesses, farms, and local governments for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, reducing operating costs and supporting rural economic development.

Key Requirements & Eligibility

• 1Must be a rural Idaho business, farm, or local government entity
• 2Eligible: solar, wind, biomass, HVAC upgrades, LED lighting, irrigation efficiency
• 3Grant covers up to 25% of eligible project costs; up to $20,000 per project
• 4Energy audit or feasibility study may be required prior to application
• 5Applications accepted through OEMR's annual grant cycle
