About This Program

A 30% federal tax credit for residential clean energy equipment including solar panels, battery storage, geothermal heat pumps, and other qualifying systems with no annual cap. The credit applies to both primary and secondary residences and unused amounts carry forward to future tax years.

Key Requirements & Eligibility

  • 1Equipment must be installed in a qualifying U.S. residence (primary or secondary)
