DEED · Minnesota
Credit equal to 25% of investment in certified Minnesota startup companies, available to both individual and corporate investors. Certified businesses must be in technology, new proprietary products/processes, or meet other qualifying criteria. Annual statewide credit cap of $17 million.
IRS · United States
Provides a 30% tax credit (up to $100,000 per property) for businesses installing EV charging or alternative fuel refueling equipment at commercial locations. Bonus credit available in low-income or non-urban census tracts.
FHWA · United States
Provides $5B over 5 years to states for EV charging infrastructure along designated Alternative Fuel Corridors. Stations must be spaced every 50 miles and within 1 mile of the highway, covering 75% of eligible costs.
